Summers

Memorial services for Frank Randolph Summers III (“Trey”) will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, at the Milam County Cowboy Church near Rockdale. (Please note: Masks will be required for attendance to the service.)

Mr. Summers died July 2, 2020.

He was born to Rae Beth and Frank Summers Jr. on Oct. 31, 1974. His birth date earned him the nickname of “Punkin” as a child.

Mr. Summers graduated from Yoe High in 1993.

After graduation, he worked in several jobs including agriculture and construction for several years before going to work at Alcoa. After two and a half years at Alcoa, he went on the road as a contract welder and pipefitter for several years. He later went to work for Charlotte Pipe to be home to raise his family. He worked for Charlotte Pipe for over 14 years.

Mr. Summers was an acolyte at All Saints Episcopal Church in Cameron and was active in the community serving with the Cameron Volunteer fire Department, as a Little League baseball coach, and as an active member of the Ag Boosters club and FFA Boosters club.

Survivors are his three children, Jase, Brooklyn and Lainey Summers; his parents, Frank and Rae Beth Summers; and a brother, John Eason Summers and fiancée Shannon Simmons.
