Todd Alan Scott, passed away June 9, 2026, at Scott & White Hospital from heart failure.
He was born Jan. 29, 1967, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
From a you ng a ge, Todd was recognized as a special addition to his blended family, first meeting them at the tender age of two and instantly capturing their hearts with his presence, described fondly as the “little care package.”
Todd graduated from Somerville High School and later joined the military.
Todd pursued his craftsmanship as a carpenter specializing in refurbishing boats in Tennessee. He was a master carpenter retiring to Texas due to health problems.
Todd loved movies, animals and collecting.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, James Doyle Scott; stepfather Gary Curling; grandparents Kenneth and Lydia Scott and Gene and Faye Sunvision.
Todd is sur v ived by his mother, Barbara Jean Curling; second mom, Ann Scott; his brother, James Scott and wife Nikkie; sisters, Robin Storey and husband Tim, Barbara Masaoka and husband Mike, Diana Perry and husband Lin, Candace Pelzel and husband Henry; and an array of nephews and nieces.
There will be a private memorial service for the family on Saturday, July 11.
