CAMERON—Martha Mary (Vasicek) Tomek, 96 of Camer on died peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at her home.

Funeral Mass was held Friday, Aug. 27, at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Marak. Burial followed in the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery.

Rosary was recited during visitation on Friday.

Mrs. Tomek was born June 29, 1925, in Bell County to Frank and Rosalie (Sodek) Vasicek.

She was a faithful member Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Marak for 66 years.

Mrs. Tomek was a member of KJZT and St. Anne’s Altar Society.

She married Clem Tomek on May 17, 1955, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Temple.

Survivors are her husband, Clem Tomek of Cameron; three sons, Duane Tomek and wife Susan of Leander, Raymond Tomek of Cameron, Melvin Tomek and wife Melissa of Round Rock; a daughter, Beatrice Williams and husband Doug of Rockdale; a granddaughter, Alicia Huppe and husband Matt of McKinney; two grandsons Jacques Williams of Cedar Park, Thomas Koederitz and wife Jenny of Jonestown; and her great-grandchildren, Juliana Huppe, Wade Koederitz, Wyatt Koederitz and William Koederitz.

She is also survived by her siblings, Dorothy Drozd of Temple, Helen Roberts of Farmers Branch, Rudolph Vasicek and wife LaDell of Cedar Hill, Margaret Sehon and husband Richard of Robinson, Johnny Vasicek and wife Rachael of Austin, Leonard Vasicek of Rogers and Caroline Cottle and husband Milton of Moody; as well as many nieces and nephews.
