“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gent leness, and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23 Above all else, Linda Urbanovsky was a child of God created in His image, loved by Him, and redeemed by the saving blood of Jesus Christ. She loved the Lord with all her heart and walked in His ways all the days of her life.

Linda loved fiercely and without condition. Her joy was shown on her face with every smile. Regardless of the circumstance, she walked in p eace a nd o ffered s olace to all. An innate kindness and goodness shown in every decision in every word. A woman of unshakable faith, Linda walked in humility and grace. She will be sorely missed by all.

Linda Lanell Tyson Urbanovsky of Milano went to be with our Lord on Nov. 28, 2023, after a brief illness.

Linda was born on Aug. 5, 1946, in Houston to William Scott Tyson and Marjorie Nell Allen.

She graduated from Caldwell High School and went on to study at the Durham Business College in Austin.

On Dec. 18, 1964, Linda married John Henry Urbanovsky. They went on to have three sons, David, Ricky and Steven; three daughters- in-law, Cheryl, Renee, and Donna; seven granddaughters, Brittany, Ashley, Amanda, Kayla, Marissa, Kate and Kelly; a grandson, John; and six great-grandchildren, Oliver, Adeline, Sawyer, Autumn, Asher and William.

After many years of service, Linda retired from Milano ISD where she served as school secretary.

After, she served as church secretary at the Lutheran church in Cameron.

Since, she spent her time in service to her church and loving her family. She spent many hours quilting, arranging flowers, crafting and spoiling her grand and great-grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, John; her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and her mother, Marjorie.

She is also survived by her sisters, Alice (Jeff) and Joan (Bob); her brothers, Dan (Tina), and Lane (Darlene); nephews and nieces Tyson, Heather, Jonathan, Mark, Sandy, Robert and Amanda.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, William Scott Tyson; her brother, William Scott Tyson Jr.; her nephew, Cody; and her niece, Janell.

Linda was remembered with a visitation on Friday, Dec. 1, and funeral services on Saturday, Dec. 2, at New Tabor Brethren Church. Interment followed at New Tabor Brethren Church Cemetery.
