Yoakum

Emma Alyne Yoakum, 90, of Rockdale died Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Burleson St. Joseph Manor in Caldwell.

Graveside services were held Saturday, June 20, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Mrs. Yoakum was born Jan. 7, 1930, in Temple to John and Hattie (Ricketson) Alexander.

She attended Rockdale Christian Fellowship.

Mrs. Yoakum enjoyed fishing, Dr Pepper, country music and the Dallas Cowboys.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Giles Yoakum; a son, Richard Alan Todd; her parents; three grandsons, Landon Giles, Phillip Cloer and Douglas McQuinn; and siblings Vernon Alexander, Milton Alexander, Franklin “Pee-wee” Alexander and Doris Williams.

Survivors are her children, Debbie Evans of Taylor, Susan Johnston and husband James, Donna Vasquez, Robin Yoakum, and Cody Yoakum, all of Rockdale, Kim Giles of Gurdon, Arkansas; and a special granddaughter and caregiver, Autumn Yoakum; also, 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
