Raymond Brittian Powell, 87, of Rockdale passed away on Tuesday, Dec 31, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale. Britt was born Dec. 10, 1937, in Gladewater to HW and Ellen Mozelle Powell.

Diana Louise Whiteley

Diana Louise Whiteley was born at home on Feb. 12, 1944, to her loving parents, Otto Ceberon and Emma Dorothy (Lorenz) Whiteley. The fourth of five children, Diana was raised on the family farm in the close-knit Minerva community.

Amy Katherine Sagebiel-Bolin

SEGUIN—Amy Katherine Sagebiel-Bolin passed away peacefully on Dec. 27, 2024, in Seguin with family by her side af ter a two-year battle with cancer. Amy was born April 30, 1973, in Seguin. She graduated Sagebiel-Bolin from Rockdale High School in May 1991 and attended Bauder College in Dallas.

THE WOODL ANDS— George Wall Sr., 100, of The Woodlands passed away Dec. 23, 2024. He was born May 22, 1924, in San Antonio. He married Chris Har t of Calvert in 1950. They moved to Rockdale in 1953 and made it their home for 65 years.

Mrs. Anderson Rachel Marie Anderson, 71, of Rockdale passed away on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, in Temple. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Springfield Missiona ry Baptist Church in Rockdale. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.

Christopher Alan Barr, 54, of Austin, formerly of Rockdale, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at Ascension Seton Hospital in Round Rock. He was born Feb. 11, 1970, to Gary Lee and Betty Man (Leake) Barr in Austin. He graduated from Westlake High School in Austin.

Dr. Lucile Estell, 94, of Rockdale was born on March 3, 1930 in Fort Worth to Hugh and Hat tie Lucile (Poole) Estell. Lucile’s first honor was to be the f i rst baby born in the Harris Fort Wor th Meth odist Hospital. Many accolades followed.
