Wanda Sue and Alfred Coats had most of their family (around 42 people) for Thanksgiving and report having a wonderful day. One more month and this year will be gone. I’ve always heard time passes by faster the older you get. Thanksgiving Day our family went to Kristi and Jimmy’s for the day.

ORGANIZATIONS

St. Joseph’s Christmas Bazaar Dec. 3 Saint Joseph’s Ladies Society recently met to make plans for the Dec. 3 Annual Christmas Bazaar. Doors open at 9 a.m. with free coffee, raffle tickets and Country Store. Lunch will be chili, chicken stew and sandwiches. The silent auction ends at 1 p.m.

Bazan leaving POSGCD after 10 years of service

The board of directors of Post Oak Savannah Ground Water Conservation District announced the appointment of Bobby Bazan as Texas Ground Water Association’s (TGWA) new executive director. Bobby has served as POSGCD’s Water Resource Management Specialist for the past 10 years.
