The glory of gardens in Rockdale

Westbrook/Taylor reunion on Sunday The annual Westbrook/Taylor reunion will be held 10 a.m., Sunday at Milano Elementary School. “All will be enjoying a shared home cooked meal, pictures and memories of years past in the lunchroom,” said Eldon Ball. “The playground will be open for younger ones.

MILANO NEWS The annual Westbrook-Taylor reunion is set for Sunday, June 30. Per spokesperson Eldon Ball, they will gather at 10 a.m. in the Milano Elementary cafeteria and all will enjoy a shared home-cooked meal, along with pictures and memories of past years in the air conditioned lunchroom.

Wayne and Al Coats attended a wedding reception for their granddaughter and husband, Lauren and Brandon Rodriguez, at the home of Ray and Paula Coats in College Station Sunday afternoon. We have a rainy Monday, but that’s all right.
