County still talking Rockdale junkyard

CAMERON—The “Junkyard Saga” continued Monday as Milam County Commissioners continued to grapple with strategy on dealing with a declared junkyard in the 1300 block of East Cameron Avenue (US 79) in Rockdale.

Rockdale hosting July Fourth fireworks in ‘19 It’s Rockdale’s turn to host the Fourth of July fireworks bash. Fair Park will be the site of the 6 to 10 p.m. observance on Thursday, July Fourth. CORRECTION

There was a mistake in last week’s print edition of The Reporter. The $400,000 needed in order for CHI-St. Joseph’s to bring a new clinic to Rockdale ($200,000 locally) is an annual requirement, not a monthly one. The error was caught and corrected in the on-line edition.

Electronics items taken in weekend break-in at clinic
