City Health Officer R.W. Wallis recently sent specimens of the city water from which Rockdale derives her drinking water to the State Health Officer for examination. In reply he received a letter from V.N. Ehlers, state sanitary engineer, giving the information that the specimen showed no trace of B. Coli or any other of the organisms belonging to that group, and pronouncing the water pure and safe.
