I taught on the power of praise yesterday. (I’m writing this Monday morning.) Praising God is part of our worship. Psalm 147:1 tells us, “Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.

Chances are you’ve probably heard about he TikTok pasta by now. It’s a recipe that has gone viral on that social networking system. If you’ve been cooking for as long as I have you, too, can probably look at a recipe and tell if you’re going to like it or not.

MVFD chili supper rescheduled for Saturday

After being postponed a week due to the icy weather, the Milano Volunteer Fire Department chili supper has been rescheduled. It will be drive-through only at the fire station. The annual fundraiser is set to start at 4:30 p.m.

Over the years, there has been interest in adding art murals to some of our downtown and community walls. Various individuals and entities have explored this idea, and in 2021, it looks like it is going to happen.

Retirement dreams in Mexico with sister-in-law

Short ribs warm you up; pound cake satisfies

When we found out the weather was going to be very cold Mom decided we should make short ribs for one of our meals. I have eaten them before but never made them. We used a different recipe but this one sounds good.
