Chamber honors top volunteers

Two sets of volunteer couples, a board which oversees children in need and a business which is always ready to assist the community were top award winners as the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center held its annual banquet Thursday at the KC Hall.

EARTH DAY ART

Junior-high art students were asked to submit artwork for this year’s Earth Day with events through the month, but scheduled primarily on April 20. Heather Murphy (seated) had the winning entry which will be prominent during the observance.

4-Hers needing items for Temple charity

MILAM 4-H NEWS Milam 4Hers will meet at 9:30 a.m. March 14 at the Temple Ronald McDonald House to deliver Coke tabs and wish list items. Items can be delivered any time before March 13. Coke tabs may also be donated.

Chamber banquet ahead March 8th
