Five felony arrests, three traffic accidents during the past week

POLICE REPORT Rockdale Police Officers made five felony arrests during the past week including: • Caron Gaines, 46, Rockdale, was arrested on Tuesday for possession of a controlled substance (less than 1 gram).

Due to incomplete sale results, The Reporter mistakenly said there was no reserve champion lamb or turkey in the preliminary livestock show results last week. There was one for each but the places were vacated and not part of the sale, as both exhibitors had other projects.

Rockdale Rotary Club meets the first, third and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch is provided. Rockdale Noon Lion’s Club also meets at RVFD on the first and third Wednesday of each month with lunch provided.
