RISD officials attend training

The Board of Trustees of the Rockdale Independent School District met Dec. 14 in the Rockdale ISD Conference Center in regular session and for a team training. The board approved a proposal submitted by Climate Control AC & Heating effective Jan.

POLICE AND FIRE REPORT

Police recorded two felony arrests over the past week and two minor accidents with one being a one-vehicle rollover with minor injuries Wednesday on Ackerman. The other occurred Friday on US 79. Five tickets were issued over the past week. Officers responded to 219 calls with 127 of them 911 calls.

MILAM COUNTY JAIL LOG

Jail log lists all the people charged with offenses though the county jail in Cameron. Chargers may change during the process. Persons are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.

GRAND JURY REPORT

The following 35 cases were presented to the grand jury and indicted as true bills with no “no bills” on Dec. 17: • Martin Salinas Jr., 36, Bartlett, third degree felony, bail jumping – fail to appear.
