School district buys four used buses The Rockdale Board of Trustees approved the purchase of four 2018 International Carpenter buses from Franklin ISD for the purchase price of $254,758 with a five-year loan from Citizens National Bank.

Four felony arrests made in past week

Rockdale police made four felony arrests over the past week with one of them involving a minor. The 15-year-old was arrested on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on Oct. 14.

FIRE CALLS

• Tuesday, 5:34 p.m. — Milano VFD responded to a call for a fire about a half mile from the 600 block of CR 237, but found that it was an unreported controlled burn. • Thursday, 6:42 p.m.— The Rockdale VFD put out a grass fire in the 1200 block of North FM 908. • Friday, 5:13 p.m.

The other day I read, “Pick your rut because you will be in it for awhile.” There’s truth in that. They call it the comfort zone for a reason. The Blonde and I are in a transition and, while it’s God’s plan, it’s not easy. Anyone?
