The Rockdale High School Big Blue Band from Tigerland, under the direction of Adrian Acevedo, performed at halftime during last Friday’s thriller against Lexington. The band will return to the home field this Friday when the Rockdale Tigers take on the undefeated Bellville Brahmas.

ONLY TWO NEW CASES WEDNESDAY

From County Judge Steve Young Wednesday night: Today we had two new cases to report and two persons have been discharged.  Additionally, we have three new probable cases and one person was discharged from a hospital.  Wednesday, we tested twelve people in Milano with two positive results.

FIVE NEW CASES TUESDAY

From County Judge Steve Young Tuesday night: We have five new confirmed cases of the virus to report in Milam County.  Eight people were discharged and two were discharged from the hospital. Twenty-two were tested in Thorndale  with one positive test.  Wednesday we will test in Milano and Gause.

EIGHT NEW CASES MONDAY

From County Judge Steve Young Monday night: Monday we had eight new confirmed cases of the virus in Milam County to report.  Three individuals were discharged.  Two were admitted to  hospitals and one was discharged.  Thirty-five people were tested in Rockdale today and two were positive.

NO WEEKEND COVID REPORT, AS USUAL

  As has been the case in recent weeks, Milam County did not receive a weekend COVID-19 report from the state. County Judge Steve Young said a report is expected sometime Monday.

'RED LETTER DAY' NO NEW CASES

  From Milam County Judge Steve Young:   Friday we had no new confirmed COVID-19 cases to report. Three cases were discharged, and no one was admitted to a hospital.  We tested ten individuals in Buckholts, but no positive tests.
