Tiger JV gets first win

Rockdale’s junior varsity football squad got their first win this past Thursday with a 38-6 win over Lexington. The Eagles took an early 6-0 lead toward the end of the first with a three-yard touchdown run and a failed conversion.

Tigers edge past Caldwell 44-3 6

Lady Tigers fall to more experienced THS team

Milano came up short in the second half to a highly-touted Burton team in a 28-7 loss on the road Friday night. “ We didn’t capitalize on opportunities later in the game,” said Chad Lagrone, MHS head football coach. “ But we did well early on.

Tiger JV falls short 14-6 in Caldwell

Rockdale’s j unior varsity football game with Caldzell came dozn to the final quarter with the Tigers losing 14-6 in their second game of the season. RHS lost a fumble on their first series eut jot the ball back after stopping Caldwell from scoring. On their next drive, Rockdale was forced to punt.

Rockdale football players run out on the field for the beginning of the “Gold Out” game against Caldwell at Tiger Stadium last Friday. Teams all across North America have “Gold Out” games to raise money for childhood cancer research.
