BACK TO SCHOOL

All of Milam County’s school districts are now back in classes, both in-person and online. Milano ISD was the final one to get underway with a Thursday start. “It went very smoothly even with all the new procedures put in place. Great cooperation by students, parents and staff,” Supt. Robert Westbrook said. Above are Milano Elementary teachers who said “welcome back” to students before the first day with this photo posted online.

Rockdale’s ambulance base is on Childress.
