Miss Rockdale Fair Queen Aayliah McBrewer will be the reader at story time at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library. Normally Story Time is for preschoolers, but the library wants all age kids to be there on Wednesday. The library announced their new hours which change on July 31. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday the new hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with lunch from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The First Friday Coffee will be held Aug. 4 and is sponsored by the MARC Center.
