St. Paul Lut heran Church and School will hold its annual barbecue dinner and live auction fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 2, at the Thorndale Fireman’s Hall on FM 486 North.
The annual Martin Luther King Day Parade will be held at 1 p.m. Monday starting at Wolf Park, going down US 79 and ending at Sumuel Park where there will be refreshments of hot dogs and chili dogs and drinks.
Students at Rockdale Junior High returned from winter break to an exciting surprise: the grand opening of their brand-new cafeteria. The updated facility, which began construction in March 2024, officially opened its doors on Wednesday, January 8th, marking a new chapter in the school’s dining experience.
