Some Milam 4-H’ers attended country camp in Palestine earlier this month learning about entomology, livestock, “trashion fashion,” art, recreation and dance. They also enjoyed Kona ice cream and a presentation of DrumCafe.

For much of his professional career, my brother, Randy, was employed by Unidynamics in Conroe. Unidynamics was, among other things, a sub-contractor for the Navy and also the oil industry.

Who am I, Lord?

I’m in a book club that meets weekly over Zoom and we go over a chapter of the book each week. It’s a great group.

New pastor at Milam County Cowboy Church

Tim Stephens is the new pastor at Milam County Cowboy Church. Stephens and his wife Susan, who is an RN and EMT, came to Rockdale from Rocksprings. After graduating from seminary in Camilla, GA, Tim was soon led to pastor Cowboy Churches in Texas.

TXDOT paving starts Monday from Burleson to Ackerman

On Monday, July 17, 2023, weather permitting, the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) contractor will begin paving operations between the US 79 intersections with Burleson St and Ackerman St in Rockdale.
