On Sept. 30, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) received a tip from a person who had knowledge of an online threat to cause harm to Cameron ISD. The tip was referred to the Milam County Sheriff’s Office for investigation.
The Minerva Volunteer Fire Department will hold a pancake supper and silent auction fundraiser from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 8. Plates are $10.

The Deanville Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual fundraiser on Sunday with a meal beginning at 11 a.m. The meal includes fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, noodles, dessert and tea.
Barbecue by the pound w ill also be available starting at 7 a.m.

I’m sitting across from the Blonde right now. One of the best things I do every day is drink coffee with her, talk about the news and pray together. The kitchen table is a blessing many families have forgotten about. I am however a little disturbed by something she just shared with me.
