ACE Tigers offers enrichment to students, parents

ACE Tiger s is wel l underway at the Intermediate and Jr. High Schools. This is our second year in our 5-year grant. ACE Tigers (Afterschool Centers on Education) is Rockdale’s after-school program at the two schools.

Rockdale VFD Responded to: • 707 West Cameron Avenue for a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on Wednesday. Milano VFD Responded to: • US 79 one mile east of Milano for a vehicle accident on Wednesday.   • US 79 and TX 36 for a multiple car accident on Wednesday.

MILAM COUNTY JAIL LOG

Jail log lists all people charged with offenses through the county jail in Cameron. Charges may change during the process. Persons are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.

Six felony arrests, five traffic accidents during the past week

Rockdale Police Officers made six felony arrests dur ing the past week including: • Trenton Ihlenfeldt, 25, Caldwell, was arrested on Wednesday by Sgt. Parker for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.   • Robert James Latta, 28, McDade, was arrested on Thursday by Ofc.

Thursday Reading Club plans and meetings At an opening luncheon in September at the home of Patricia McKee, The Thursday Reading Club met to begin the 2022-2023 year of business. The luncheon was hosted by the yearbook committee, Chairman Joan Ratliff, Jeanie Weed and Mrs.

This year is moving on. Always many activities taking place this time of the year. Hollis Mathews passed away. He will be missed in the community. Keep Mary Francis and family in your prayers. On Oct. 30, Gause Baptist Church will host the annual Fall Festival. Come join this community activity.

Milano Homecoming was a success
