POSGCD awarded $200,000 grant

The Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District was awarded a $200,000 grant in federal assistance from the Bureau of Reclamation to improve groundwater modeling capabilities in the local area that will be a significant tool in supporting management decisions.

Rockdale PD makes five felony arrests, including two juveniles

Rockdale Police Officers made five felony arrests dur ing the past week including: • Thoma s A nt hony McElroy, 27, Lexington, was arrested on Tuesday by Ofc. Puente for a warrant for criminal mischief ($2,500 to $30,000).   • Eric Michael Whitfield, 63, Rockdale, was arrested Thursday by Ofc.
