Library hosts Communities for Recovery Jan. 29

Communities For Recovery will host prevention training with free Narcan on Thursday, Jan. 29, in two classes: noon to 1 p.m. or 6 to 7 p.m. at the Lucy Hill Patterson Memorial Library. In 2015, Texas Senate Bill 1462 was passed, putting a standing order into effect.

MLK parade to be held on Monday The annual Martin Luther King Day parade will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19. Set up begins at noon. This year’s Grand Marshals are Henry and Deborah Miller. Henry will speak after the parade.
