HOLY WEEK LUNCHEONS— The Rockdale Ministerial Alliance organized community luncheons during Holy Week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before Easter. Peace Lutheran Church hosted the luncheons and reported great participation from area churches, including Rising Star Baptist, St. Thomas Episcopal, First Christian, St. John’s United Methodist, First Presbyterian and St Joseph Catholic by provision of food, music and sermon messages. Between 45 and 50 people from the area attended each day.

In Matthew 6:25 Jesus said, “Don’t be anxious about your life.” For some reason Bobby McFerrin’s, “Don’t Worry Be Happy” keeps bouncing around in my head. Maybe because God wants His church to be full of hope and joy and to be found trusting Him in every circumstance.
