The “Will Santa Find Me” Foundation is currently based out of Connecticut, and works closely with the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. WSFM takes pride in helping to grant the exact gift wishes of many children and families.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA—In addition to eating pancakes with Santa and getting pictures made with him, kiddies enjoyed lots of arts and crafts projects and face painting. The annual event drew kids from all over the county. Breakfast was provided by the Rockdale McDonald’s.

ORGANIZATIONS

Senior Center seeking volunteers, donations The Rockdale Senior Center is in need of volunteers on Mondays to deliver Meals on Wheels twice per month. They are also asking for donations for their Angel Tree and seeking people to adopt a senior or buy items from their wish list.

Rockdale Christmas events set for Saturday

Two Christmas events are happening in our town on Saturday. Sponsored by the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce, breakfast with Santa runs from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Patterson Civic Center. Rockdale McDonald’s will be providing pancakes, milk and juice.

MTOL fundraiser to be held Dec. 12

The Milam Touch of Love, a non-profit group that saves domestic pets all over Milam County, will have a fundraiser on Dec. 12 from noon to 4 p.m. at Brett’s Backyard Bar-B-Que. Chili and cornbread will be served for $10 (available all day) and K9 Beer will be provided by the Texas Beer Co.
