Job fair in Milam County

Workforce Solutions of Central Texas sponsored a job fair in Rockdale’s George Hill Patterson Community Center on July 20. There were 16 employers at the fair including representatives from the Navy, Temple College and Texas Veterans Commission.

COVID-19 claims another Milam County life

     COVID-19 has claimed a third life in the month of July bringing Milam County's death toll from the disease to 52.      There were no deaths from the disease, which now has a vaccine, in June. The last reported death due to COVID-19 before the three so far this month was in late May.

Expect a miracle

When I was a kid, Pastors like Oral Roberts were in their heyday. He was on television, built a college and was influencing a jillion people.
