A new hotel in Shanghai, the J Hotel, reports the Association of Mature American Citizens, has its lobby on the 101st floor of a skyscraper that is 2,073 feet in height. But it is not the “highest” hotel.

SUNFLOWER FUN RUN/WALK—Plans are in the works for the Melodie Hope Jones Memorial Scholarship Fun “Sunflower Fun Run/Walk.” The event is scheduled for Sept. 25 at Davidson Creek Park in Caldwell. There is a kids’ one mile color run at 9 a.m. and the 5K starts at 9:30 a.m.
