Four felony arrests, two traffic accidents

Rockdale Police Officers made four felony arrests during the past week: • Elmer McIrvin Jr., 56, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Meadows for prohibited substance in correctional facility. • John Robert Marshall, 54, Rockdale, was arrested by Sgt.

St. Paul BBQ fundraiser set for Feb. 1

St. Paul Lutheran Church and School will hold its annual BBQ dinner and live auction fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 1, at the Thorndale Fireman’s Hall on FM 486 North. The meal will consist of brisket, barbecue sauce, noodles, pinto beans, potato salad, pickles, onions and bread.

Milam County is under a burn ban. We are too dry and it has been too windy to burn brush or trash. Please be mindful of this when you get the urge to burn that brush pile. NYC TRIP— Our trip to New York City was fantastic!
