Commissioners okay Second Amendment support resolution CAMERON—Milam County Commissioners, meeting Monday at the county courthouse, joined 60 other Texas counties in adopting a resolution supporting the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

CORRECTION

The Reporter incorrectly listed one of the candidates in the Precinct 3 County Commissioner race as an incumbent last week. The actual incumbent is John Fisher who did not file for re-election. Fisher’s term ends on Dec. 31.

Credit/debit card abuse arrest made

POLICE REPORT Rockdale police said “unauthorized use” of a company credit card has led to the arrest of a 40-year-old Rockdale man. Robert Edwin Hawkins was arrested Sunday and charged with credit/debit card abuse. He was released after posting $6,000 bond. Lt.

Arrest made on child sex, porn

SHERIFF’S REPORT A 38-year-old Rockdale man was charged with sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography. Kody Lee Land was arrested Friday and released the next day after posting $100,000 bond. Land had previously been arrested Jan.
