POLICE REPORT There were six vehicle accidents reported in Rock-dale during the past week, one involving a motorized wheelchair and one involving a bicycle. Police Chief Thomas Harris said only “slight” injuries were reported.

—About 60 bikers participated in the annual Buddy Oney Toy Run which left The Ranch at 11 a.m. Saturday, Organizer Charles Starr said the event raised about $7,500, including $2,500 from a donor who wished to remain anonymous.

—The recent Christmas at the Kay musical presentation at Rockdale’s historic Kay Theatre netted 215 pounds of food for the needy. The food was donated to the Rockdale Christian Services Food Pantry. Bob Burnett, Kay Theatre board member is shown with the food in the RCS Pantry.
