Bad to the Bone Riders and the 14th Annual Buddy Oney Toy Run presented Milam County Sheriff Chris White with a $950 check for the Sheriff’s Department Brown Santa program recently. That represented Brown Santa’s share of the approximately $8,000 raised for children-oriented entities by the run.

ORGANIZATIONS

Master Naturalists set training class El Camino Real Master naturalists will host training beginning Jan. 16 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Hermit Haus in Cameron on Thursday evenings. The class is a joint effort of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension program.

Kyle’s Kitchen Happy New Year! If you thought I was going to start my food-related column with diety-type food, you’d be wrong. Today it’s all about cauliflower casserole, and this one is so delicious. I have made this many times and it is super easy to make and super easy to change it up.

Blood drive set for Wednesday
