Five-day revival scheduled at First Assembly of God First Assembly of God is holding a Holy Ghost Revival Monday-Friday at 7:30 p.m. Revs. Randy and Rhonda Whited from the Army of the Lord Ministries will be preaching and ministering in music. First Assembly is located at 310 Childress Drive.

ROCKDALE CHRISTIAN SERVICES

RCS food pantry Rockdale Christian Services operates a food pantry at 224 West Cameron Avenue, open 10 a.m. until noon weekdays. Donations of non-perishable food items are welcome, especially one-pound bags of rice, pinto beans, macaroni and cheese, canned soups and peanut butter.

Archaeologist gives lecture about Israel on Saturday

Dr. James Fleming will present a program called “Lessons About God From the Lands of the Bible” at St. John’s United Methodist Church Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with check-in at 8:30 a.m. Fleming is a lecturer and director of Biblical Resources, LLC located in LaGrange, GA.

Many thanks from the Gause Community Improvement Program (CIP) for all of you from Gause and surrounding area that helped make Founders Day a success Saturday. We had a great time together and received many donations from area businesses for the auction.

Alumni/exes dinner set for Sept. 27

MILANO NEWS Milano Alumni & Exes Association will host its only scholarship fundraiser on Sept. 27 with a fajita dinner at the Milano Elementary School cafeteria. Serving starts at 5:30 p.m. until sold out. Cost is $10 per plate and includes fajita with your choice of fixings, tea and a dessert.
