VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL CAMPS

Vacation Bible schools offer a variety of activities with a Christian message for students of all ages. These are the programs in the area: June 3-6 – Meadowbrook Baptist Church will host VBS “In the Wild Amazing Encounters with Jesus” from 9 a.m.-noon at 1401 Colorado Ave., Rockdale.

Cowboy Christian camp for teens Signup for Summer Cowboy Church camp in Oklahoma is underway at the Milam County Cowboy Church.

GAUSE NEWS

Gause Baptist Church youth and pre-teen car washes will be held Saturday. Proceeds from this activity will help pay their way to summer church camps. One car wash will be held in Gause and one in Hearne. Follow the signs and get your vehicle washed.

Alcoa retirees slate meeting for June 13th THORNDALE—The next meeting of Rockdale Alcoa Retirees will be Thursday, June 13 at the Thorndale VFW Hall, according to Doug Williams, organization president. He said doors will open at 5 p.m. with a short business meeting around 5:45.
