Well water screening June 12-13 in Williamson, Milam counties

The Texas Well Owner Network will host water screenings in the Brushy Creek Watershed on June 12-13 for residents in Williamson and Milam counties. Water samples will be screened for contaminants, including total coliform bacteria, E. coli, nitrate-nitrogen and salinity.

FriYAY 4-H Day Camp has new date

Milam County youth are invited to a day full of hands-on fun, creativity and learning at this year’s FriYAY 4-H Day Camp, scheduled for a new date of Friday, June 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Milam County Extension Office Annex Conference Room, 908 N Crockett Avenue, Suite B in Cameron.

The Milam County Row Crop Tour will be held on Monday, June 23. This year’s Row Crop Tour will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m. at 6993 N FM 486 in Thorndale.

MARC Ride June 14 at The Ranch

The 24th annual MARC Ride will be held next weekend on Saturday, June 14 at The Ranch with registration starting at 9 a.m. This annual ride benefits the Milam Adult Resource Center and is the center’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The ride fee is $20 per rider or $25 if you have a passenger.
