Dear Savvy Senior, Does Medicare cover annual physical exams? I’ve gotten a physical every year since I turned 50 and would like to fi nd out what Medicare covers when I sign up in a few months.

Three felony arrests made over past week

Rockdale Police Officers made three felony arrests dur ing the past week including: • Catrina Lee Huffman, 39, Rockdale, was arrested by Ofc. Wachtel for possession of a controlled substance (1 to 4 grams), a Milam County Sheriff's Office warrant and a Temple Police Department warrant.

Jail log lists all people charged with offenses through the county jail in Cameron. Charges may change during the process. Persons are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. • Augustin Bailey, 69, homeless, criminal trespass, in custody.

Red Mountain Archeological Field School

The Texas Archeological Society (TAS) is taking reservations for the 2025 Archeological Field School at Red Mountain June 14 through 21 in Milam and Robertson Counties.

Roddam sworn in for first full term

Mayor Ward Roddam was sworn in for his first threeyear term at Monday night’s Rockdale City Council meeting. Roddam finished the unexpired term of former Mayor Brett Boren’s term when he moved outside the city limits and became ineligible in May of 2024.
