TRAFFIC STOPPER—Literally. This giant transformer slowed, and at times shut down, traffic along US 79 through Rockdale as it zig-zagged its way through the heart of downtown one morning early last week. The last Central Texas Food Bank (CTFB) Mobile Food Pantry distribution of August in the KC Hall parking lot will be held on Thursday, according to Rockdale Christian Services Chair Pam Warren.
