MINERVA—Wayne Offie Vincent Sr., 72, of Minerva died Thursday, May 2, 2019, at his home. Services were held Monday, May 6, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial followed at Minerva Cemetery. Mr. Vincent was born June 30, 1946, in Culver City, California, to Joe Otha Vincent Sr.

Suzanne Quick

Suzanne Quick died April 24, 2019, at her home near Thorndale, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. A celebration of life is being planned for a future date. Ms. Quick was born Sept. 16, 1950, in Houston.

Mass for John Correa Santellano Sr., 67, of Rock-dale was held Saturday, April 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rock-dale with Father Edwin Kagoo, Deacon Don Sims and K.C. member Leon Dubey officiating. Cremation followed the mass.

Montez Rhodes Jones died peacefully April 11, 2019, in her home of 67 years in Rockdale. She was surrounded by her children, caregivers, and had been visited by grandchildren and some great-grandchildren earlier in the week.
