MULESHOE—Jessie Louise Morgan, 72, of Muleshoe died June 9, 2019, in Muleshoe. She was born May 10, 1947, in Bryan to Roy and Jessie (Baxter) Baggerly. She married Hubert Morgan in 1967. Mrs. Morgan worked for the Milam County Appraisal Office for many years.

W i l s o n Eugene (W.E.) Owens

CONROE—Wilson Eugene (W.E.) Owens, a sixth generation Texan, was born Aug. 19, 1928, in Tanglewood. He was called to his next ministry on June 6, 2019, at his home in Willis at the age of 90. Funeral service was held at Cashner Colonial Chapel in Conroe on Tuesday, June 11.

LEXINGTON—Melissa Wells, 34, of College Station died Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at her home in College Station. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, at St. James Lutheran Church in Lexington with Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Burial will be at Hugh Wilson Cemetery in Tangle-wood.

THORNDALE—Funeral services for Debra Ann Alexander, 66, of Thorndale were held Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Chaplain Bruce Mercer officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Thorndale. Mrs. Alexander died at her home Tuesday, May 28.

ARLINGTON—Johnnie Lorraine Matl, 89, died Monday, May 20, 2019, in Fort Worth. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at Wade Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Rev. Terence Jordan officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cyclone at 1 p.m.
