Solon B. Peevey, 93, of Thorndale died Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Seton Williamson Medical Center in Round Rock. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at Robinson Cemetery in Robinson. Visitation is set for 5 to 7 p.m.

Serpas

Fred Estave Serpas was born on June 21, 1944, in Nacogdoches, to Robert Sidney and Minnie Smith Serpas. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a former member of the Rock-dale Masonic Lodge and Rockdale Lions Club.

Ernest R. Schneider passed away peacefully in his home in Rockdale on the morning of Feb. 21, 2019. He was 90 years old. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 23, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Visitation was Saturday before the service from 12-noon until 2 p.m.
