SHARP—Charles Howard Helmer, 87, of the Sharp community in Milam County died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at his home. Graveside services were held Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Sharp Cemetery. Mr. Helmer, a retired machinist, was born Nov. 21, 1930, in Houston to Samuel and Maudie Jane (Connally) Helmer.
