Mrs. Haley MIL ANO— Mar y Beard Smith Haley, 90, died peacefully at her daughter’s residence in San Angelo on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, surr oun d e d by loved ones. She was born in Milano on Oct. 10, 1932. Mary was a devout member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Services will be via Zoom in March.

Mata Mary S. Alvarado Mata, 81, of Rockdale died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at her home in Rockdale surrounded by her family. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p. m. Satur day, Feb. 18, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Rockdale.

James “Rust y” Russell Bankston, 69, of Cameron died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023, at his home in Cameron. A graveside service was held Sunday, Jan. 29, at Sand Grove Cemetery in Milano. Mr. Bankston was born Dec. 28, 1953, to George Truitt and Dera Louis (Mathis) Bankston in Rockdale.

Mr. Graham Billy Clark Graham, age 89 of Thorndale, died Dec. 11, 2022. A private celebration service of his life was held Jan. 14, 2023, at the place he loved—his home place, in Thorndale— with Daniel Garrison officiating and special music by Robert Lawhorn. Burial followed later that day at I.O.O.
