FRANKLIN—Vernice Claude Ansley was born on July 30, 1932, in Ridge to parents Albert and Evaline Elledge Ansley. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, at his home at the age of 90 years. Vernice married his loving wife, Patsy Lynn Arisman on April 9, 1954, in Concord.

A memorial service for Amy Beth DeLuna Gainey Erwin, 49, of Gause will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at Wellspring Community Church, formerly Gause Full Gospel Church, 14069 E. US 79, two miles west of Gause. Pastor Nicholas Burns will officiate. Mrs. Erwin died July 1 in Gause.

Vernon Lee Gage, 84, of Milano died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Mr. Gage was born June 25, 1938, in Lockhart to Tommy Wendell and Artie Mitcha (Beard) Gage. On Nov. 8, 1960, he married Barbara Rowe. To this union four children were born.

Hoffmeyer

Ina Genelle Dunn Hoffmeyer passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 6:50 a.m. Nell had reached the age of 91 years and 7 months when God called her to her Heavenly home. She had been a member of First Baptist Church for nearly 70 years, after being saved at age 19.

Joe Dan Huddleston, 79, of Rockdale died Friday, July 8, 2022. He was born July 13, 1942, in Wacoto Joseph Elsie and Sell (Zalbreath) Huddleston. Mr. Huddleston was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Sell. Survivors are his wife, Sandra Huddleston, as well as numerous friends and family.
