Booster club to meet July 29 at RHS library The Rockdale Tiger Booster Club will have its first meeting for the 2025-26 school year at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 29. They will meet at the Rockdale High School library.

Rockdale got a new tennis coach last year. Former Tiger Adrian Salcedo, who has been teaching at the high school, stepped into the role this year and he is leading a tennis revival for the Blue & Gold. Salcedo is a stud on the courts and has a lot of passion for the sport.

Granger GOOD. Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 0.39 feet above pool. Black bass are good in 3-8 feet of water around structure with various baits. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows in 5-10 feet of water over brush. White bass are good along roadbeds and humps, but most are undersized.

Free water aerobics offered at City Pool Free water aerobics take place every Wednesday from 12-noon to 12:50 p.m. at the City Pool in Veteran’s Park in Rockdale. Bring a towel, a floaty and two Frisbees or weights. Water aerobics are sponsored by Rockdale Community Market and Hutto YMCA.
