Tiger Nation wants to welcome new Head Softball Coach Makinzie Tomascik to the family. Coach Tomascik has a lot of experience not only with softball but with multiple sports including volleyball and basketball. She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Tarleton State University.

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 0.65 feet above pool. Black bass are fair to 6 pounds on white spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on jigs fished in brush piles all over the lake. White bass are fair along main lake roadbeds. Blue catfish are good on shad-baited jug lines.
STATE-BOUND— The Thrall Tigers have punched their ticket to the Class 3A-D2 state finals after they beat Orange Grove last week in San Antonio, 2-1. The Tigers will now face off against the Wall Hawks in the championship game at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock. Thrall ISD photo

While I was digging into the vault last week, I was reading about former Coach Jeff Miller talking about how Rockdale doesn't stand for mediocrity and how we have a winning culture in Tiger Nation. Coach Miller shared those thoughts with The Reporter in 2007, it was his second year in the Rock.
