Rockgusta golf tourney results released

The Rockdale Country Club held its annual Rockgusta Golf Tournament recently. There were 61 teams participating in this year’s twoman scramble. Championship Flight (27 holes) First—Tucker Tovar and Jakob Mikel, 91. Second—Frankie Chanderlis and Everette Nini, 92.

Idon’t know if you saw the news but the UIL just stripped Austin LBJ of it’s 2024 District 13-4A D1 District Championship and vacated it’s 11 win season due to the use of ineligible players.

Milano releases practice times Milano Eagle sports are about to launch for the 2025-26 school year. Football players need to show up at 7 a.m. Aug. 4 at the fieldhouse for practice from 8 to 11 a.m. Volleyball players report to the high school gym, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 1.
