Annual Fit 22 football clinic set for June 28

Thorndale Coach Deron Clay will be producing his fifth annual Fit 22 football clinic at Tiger Stadium from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28. This unique day camp includes specialized training for the individual football player.

Adult water aerobics being offered weekly

Every Wednesday from 12-noon to 12:50 p.m. at Rockdale’s City Pool, adults can do water aerobics. It’s free, just bring a towel, a floaty, two Frisbees or weights from now until September. Special thank you to Hutto YMCA for supplying the lifeguards.

Tiger Nation welcomes home new Coach De'Jhoria Lister. Coach Lister will be an assistant coach and a credit recovery teacher at Rockdale High School.

Fit 22 annual football camp set for June 28

Coach Deron Clay will host his fifth annual Fit 22 Football Showcase from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at Tiger Stadium. The cost is $50 per athlete and is for grades seven through 12.

O ur oldest son Miller, who is now a Presbyterian pastor, was a sports nut when he was a kid. I have coached a lot of Little League games and the Blonde has watched a lot of Little League games.
