Eagles, Bulldogs set for season openers Friday

MILANO— At 7:30 p.m. Friday, the Milano Eagles will host the Axtel Longhorns to kick off their regular season. The Eagles, under Coach Nick Morehead, are picked fifth in District 13-2A DII by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine.

The Milano Lady Eagles volleyball team finished in second place this weekend at the Rosebud-Lott Tournament.
