The busy Rockdale Lady Tigers beat Milano last Friday night in Tiger Gym winning in five sets, 3-2.
The finals were 25-14, 14-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-12.

Black bass are good to 5 pounds on worms and crankbaits fished up river and around main lake cover.
Crappie are good on jigs and minnows fished over cover in 6-12 feet of water.
The Rockdale long distance team traveled to Belton recently.
The boys varsity squad—that includes Jonat ha n F u l ler, Alex Cooper, Austin Caldwell, Zeb Skrhak, Jess e Montelongo, Ayden Evans, Shawn Gerren, Emilano Tovar and Aaron Montelongo— finished in second place.
Mission accomplished. Weeks ago Rockdale Tiger Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Hunter Hamrick told us the goal was to, “Win games.”
That’s what Rockdale did on Friday night under the lights of Tiger Stadium.

THRALL—Thorndale hit the road for the first game of the season. They played rival and neighbor Thrall and lost a game that was much closer than its score shows. The final was Thrall 50, Thorndale 29.
Thorndale scored three times in the first quarter.
